Beijing 2008 Olympic torch crosses the greatest Hurdle in India
India is one of the country which shelters the highest number of tibetians around the world. Its not so easy to make the “Olympic torch run” in India. But still, in spite of great security some tibetians protested and 32 tibetians were arrested by the delhi police.
The sports persons who took part in Olympic torch relay was PT Usha, Karnam Malleswari, World Shooting Champion Manavijit Singh Sadhu, and Indian Tennis twins Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes.
The viewers also witnessed Bollywoods Saif Ali Khan and ” Chak De India ” Sagarika Ghatge.
